Sunny Sunday
Finally, we had a pretty day while Mimi was here. So we took her to our favorite places. First, we stopped at Carter Mountain to pick some apples. The view there is amazing. The kids had fun. It was very muddy so both the kids ended up covered in mud. Thankfully neither Mimi or I spilled in the mud. We picked 12 pounds of apples.(not sure what to do with them all), ate some apple donuts, and checked out the pumpkins.
After a running home to change two muddy kids we heading to the King Family Vineyards for the weekly Polo match. Well, the polo match was cancelled because the ground was so wet and all the horse were in the fields. Both Jessica and Johnathan were very disappointed. But we sat on the patio of the winery and let them play. They both ended up playing with some other kids that were there. Mom and Josh enjoyed the wine tasting in the wine room.
